Job Summary
Assisting lenders with loan closing documentation, the full-time remote SBA Closing Specialist will prepare and review documents for compliance with SBA 7(a) guidelines, verify loan approval conditions, and coordinate with borrowers and third parties to ensure accurate and complete closing packages.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review SBA loan closing documents for compliance with guidelines and lender requirements
- Compile and organize loan application documents into complete and compliant loan packages for SBA submission
- Act as a primary contact for borrowers, lenders, and third parties throughout the loan process, providing updates and coordinating documentation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field, or relevant work experience
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in SBA loan closing or commercial lending
- In-depth knowledge of SBA 7(a) loan program guidelines and regulations (SOP 50 10)
- Strong understanding of loan documentation, closing procedures, and legal terms
- Experience with SBA loan processing software and document management systems preferred
