Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter, SBA.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite SBA 7(a) small business loans in compliance with SBA SOPs and internal credit policies
• Analyze financial documents and evaluate creditworthiness, including cash flow and debt service coverage
• Manage underwriting pipeline, ensuring timely communication with internal partners and clients

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of underwriting experience, specifically with SBA 7(a) small loans
• Demonstrated knowledge of SBA SOPs and eligibility requirements
• Experience in a bank, credit union, CDFI, or SBA lending environment
• Proficiency in reviewing financial documents and conducting cash flow analysis
• Strong analytical skills and sound judgment
