SBA Underwriter - AZ Licensed
Job Summary
Remote in AZ, CO, ID, NV, UT, and TX, the full-time SBA Underwriter - AZ Licensed will underwrite SBA guaranteed loan products, compile credit package data, and evaluate loan applications while ensuring compliance with regulations and bank policies.
Key responsibilities:
- Underwrite SBA loan products, ensuring adherence to SBA SOP and bank policies
- Compile and analyze financial data to prepare credit packages and conduct thorough credit analyses
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to present recommendations to Credit Approvers for loan approvals
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field, plus 1+ year of relevant underwriting experience
- Basic knowledge of commercial and small business credit underwriting and lending practices
- Understanding of C&I and CRE loan requirements, including risk identification
- Ability to analyze financial statements, business plans, and credit reports
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills, with a commitment to confidentiality
