Job Summary
Seeking a SC Licensed Workers' Compensation Adjuster, the full-time position will manage adjudication of medical-only and indemnity claims, including Federal and State Black Lung claims, while working remotely across the United States.
Key responsibilities:
- Adjudicate complex workers' compensation claims through thorough investigations and interviews
- Manage medical-only claims and ensure timely payment of appropriate medical bills
- Set claim reserves and prepare documentation while maintaining consistent communication with stakeholders
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of five years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in South Carolina
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
- SC license required at the start of the assignment
- Strong understanding of insurance operations and claim negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ability to communicate effectively in English
