SCADA Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SCADA Sr. Systems Engineer to lead the review and execution of controls design for industrial automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate existing controls design narratives and fill in technical gaps
• Design control logic sequences for PLCs and configure HMI/SCADA interfaces
• Contribute to system commissioning, FAT/SAT, and ensure operational readiness

Required Qualifications

• Experience in PLC programming and architecture (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
• Proficiency in HMI/SCADA configuration (Ignition, AVEVA, etc.)
• Ability to work from or create controls narratives, I/O lists, and functional specifications
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, etc.)
• Familiarity with ISA standards and experience with redundant OT systems
