Scala Software Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sr Scala Software Engineer (U.S. remote).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new and enhance existing application services
- Write tests to maintain code quality
- Support and troubleshoot issues, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions
Required Qualifications:
- Scala 2.12+ development experience
- Experience building Restful APIs in Scala using the Play Framework
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience is preferred but not required
