Scheduler 2 with Certification

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scheduler 2 to support key areas of the organization related to diagnostic imaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-registers, schedules, verifies insurance eligibility, and collects patient financial responsibility
• Handles complex scheduled events and communicates effectively to enhance patient flow and customer service
• Initiates the patient experience and billing process for services provided by the hospital

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) to Five (5) years of experience in scheduling, financial clearance, or patient access
• National certification in HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one (1) year of hire
• Proficiency in Patient Registration/Patient Accounting systems and related software
• Comprehensive knowledge of multiple scheduling systems and complex diagnostic testing appointment scheduling processes
