Job Summary
A company is looking for a Scheduler to manage patient appointments and support communication between providers and patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle multiple phone lines and schedule patient appointments using in-house software
- Input and update patient account information and maintain rapport with referring providers
- Meet key performance metrics while providing high-level customer service during the scheduling process
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0 - 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting or high-volume call center
- Excellent typing skills (40+ WPM) with a focus on precision
- Knowledge of medical terminology and health insurances
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and detail-oriented while multitasking
