Scheduler Data Entry Specialist

Job Summary

To support anesthesia scheduling needs, the remote Scheduler Data Entry Specialist will manage data collection and entry for surgical cases, handle incoming calls from medical facilities, and ensure accurate scheduling information is maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Enter data into scheduling and billing software for surgical cases received from various sources
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in scheduling information through communication with facilities and surgeon office staff
• Notify providers of daily schedules and collaborate with other divisions for coverage needs

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 1-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of medical practices and terminology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Previous surgery scheduling experience preferred but not required
