Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scheduler for Orthopedic Surgery in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule all patient surgical procedures for multiple orthopedic surgeons at affiliated hospitals and surgical centers
• Communicate with hospitals, surgical centers, and patients to ensure surgical optimization and clearances
• Utilize EMR for obtaining surgical booking information and scheduling pre-post operative appointments

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in a Surgical Coordinating role in a busy multiple physician practice
• Knowledge of medical terminology is desirable
• Experience with word processing and computer systems
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred
