Scheduler Pre-Registrar

Job Summary

To support patient scheduling needs, the full-time Scheduler Pre-Registrar will manage incoming phone calls and fax requests to schedule outpatient tests and complete pre-registration for patients, ensuring valid provider orders are obtained while working remotely from the Denver Metro area.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process scheduling requests from patients via phone and fax
• Complete pre-registration for scheduled patients and verify provider orders
• Maintain knowledge of insurance payors and medical terminology to assist patients effectively

Required qualifications

• 1 year of previous Radiology Scheduling or Patient Access experience preferred
• Knowledge of insurance payors, including commercial, government, and third-party
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience in a healthcare office environment with familiarity in CPT-ICD 10
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision and multitask effectively
