Job Summary
A company is looking for a Scheduling and Authorization Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete insurance verification and obtain necessary authorizations for scheduled patients
- Schedule complex exams and manage high volumes of inbound and outbound calls for patient scheduling
- Monitor and manage communication channels, including email and fax, for assigned practices
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; associate degree or 2+ years in patient scheduling or healthcare billing preferred
- Over one year of experience in customer service or client relations
- Experience in an office or hospital environment preferred
- High volume call center experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
