Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scheduling and Authorization Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete insurance verification and obtain necessary authorizations for scheduled patients
  • Schedule complex exams and manage high volumes of inbound and outbound calls for patient scheduling
  • Monitor and manage communication channels, including email and fax, for assigned practices


Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; associate degree or 2+ years in patient scheduling or healthcare billing preferred
  • Over one year of experience in customer service or client relations
  • Experience in an office or hospital environment preferred
  • High volume call center experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
