Scheduling and Registration Specialist

Job Summary

To support a busy gastroenterology practice, the part-time Scheduling and Registration Specialist will manage patient registration, schedule diagnostic and interventional procedures, and ensure accurate communication of prep information and arrival details while working onsite in Orlando.

Key responsibilities

• Efficiently gather and input patient demographic information and insurance verification while scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling procedures
• Accurately communicate preparation information, arrival times, and locations to patients
• Maintain compliance with Orlando Health policies and procedures while demonstrating personal accountability and quality in departmental maintenance

Required qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• One year of clinical registration, scheduling, or closely related experience required
• Thorough knowledge of DDE, Passport, Omega, Orbit/Nova/ESI preferred
