Job Summary
To enhance healthcare efficiency, the full-time Scheduling Assistant will provide administrative and patient support services, including scheduling appointments and documenting medical histories, while working remotely from Alabama or Mississippi.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with Scheduling & Contact Center activities
- Answer inbound calls to schedule appointments for new or existing patients
- Collect and document patient medical history into the electronic medical record (EMR)
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare specific training preferred
- Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA laws
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Friendly, polite, and professional demeanor
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, private workspace
