Job Summary
To support timely staffing in home care, the part-time hourly Scheduling Specialist will coordinate client and caregiver schedules, maintain accurate electronic records, and ensure effective communication between all parties involved, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinates client and caregiver schedules, filling open shifts and ensuring service satisfaction through regular communication
- Maintains knowledge of licensure regulations and program requirements, addressing any service concerns promptly
- Performs clerical and administrative duties as needed while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum two years of previous experience in homecare scheduling
- Experience working with the elderly and/or disabled, demonstrating a compassionate attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with scheduling software
- Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple schedules and communications efficiently
