Job Summary
To support timely staffing of home care cases, the remote Scheduling Specialist will manage caregiver and client schedules, ensuring accurate match-ups and effective communication while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinates client and caregiver schedules, filling open shifts with appropriate caregivers and ensuring timely updates in scheduling software
- Maintains communication with clients and caregivers regarding service satisfaction and scheduling needs, while identifying opportunities for new client services
- Ensures compliance with licensure regulations and program requirements, addressing any service concerns promptly with the Care Team
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum two years of previous experience, particularly in homecare scheduling
- Experience working with the elderly and/or disabled, demonstrating a compassionate attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with scheduling software
- Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills to handle multiple priorities effectively
