Job Summary

To drive sales of Newsela's Formative products, the full-time remote School Sales Representative will build relationships with key decision makers in K-12 education, manage the sales lifecycle, and leverage insights from their territory to inform sales strategies.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire sales lifecycle and own territory to build new business relationships
  • Achieve revenue targets while collaborating with a cross-functional team to support national sales growth
  • Drive sales within existing school and district customer base, focusing on the adoption of Newsela products
Required qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience selling K-12 EdTech SaaS products with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle and closing deals effectively
  • Ability to navigate multiple stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions
  • Demonstrated success in high-volume, short-cycle sales environments
  • Legally authorized to work in the US
