Job Summary
Building relationships with key decision makers at the school level, the fully remote School Sales Representative will manage the sales lifecycle and achieve revenue targets by selling educational products to K-12 classrooms.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage a sales territory, building new business relationships to expand Newsela's presence in classrooms
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to achieve revenue targets and drive product adoption in K-12 education
- Stay informed about territory funding, state initiatives, and the K-12 education landscape to inform sales strategies
Required qualifications
- 1+ years of experience exceeding sales quotas, preferably in SaaS or K-12 EdTech
- Background in education or strong understanding of pedagogical challenges and solutions
- Proven ability to navigate multiple stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions
- Experience in high-volume, transactional sales and building a book of business
- Familiarity with using AI tools to enhance sales efficiency and productivity
