Science Curriculum Designer

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative educational resources, the remote Associate Academic Designer, Science (Labs) will plan and develop 3-dimensional classroom investigations for grades 6-12, ensuring alignment with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Planning and developing 3-dimensional classroom and digital investigations that meet NGSS requirements
• Researching educational trends and producing accurate, curriculum-compliant educational materials
• Collaborating with team members to ensure project goals and schedules are met

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Life, Earth, or Physical Science
• Actual NGSS classroom teaching experience
• Experience in planning and developing 3-dimensional investigations for a 6-12 classroom
• 3+ years of experience in educational publishing or significant editorial experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
