Science Editorial Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Science Editorial Manager to lead the development and quality assurance of science editorial work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, onboard, and develop editorial talent to ensure high-quality content initiatives
• Lead and mentor the science editorial team, setting performance expectations and fostering continuous improvement
• Oversee the assignment, review, and approval of editorial content to ensure accuracy and alignment with standards

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of people management experience in educational publishing or EdTech
• At least 5 years of experience in educational publishing with knowledge of NGSS standards and K-12 market needs
• A minimum of 5 years of editorial experience focused on science curriculum
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
• Exceptional project management capabilities with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results
