Science Learning Facilitator

Job Summary

To support student engagement and academic success, the fully remote Science Learning Facilitator will monitor student progress, implement intervention strategies, and serve as the primary contact for families while collaborating with the Managing Instructor and other team members.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively engage and monitor student progress in the Learning Management System (LMS)
• Execute targeted intervention strategies and conduct regular outreach to struggling students
• Maintain transparent communication with families regarding student progress and required interventions

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 1+ years of classroom experience; virtual instruction experience preferred
• Valid teaching certification preferred but not required
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and virtual communication tools preferred
• Commitment to the mission of virtual education and understanding of remote student engagement challenges
