Job Summary
Driving the Scientific Communications function within Medical Affairs, the full-time remote Associate Director, Scientific Communications will optimize communication strategies, manage publication planning, and lead scientific dissemination efforts to support launch readiness and growth.
Key responsibilities
- Steer the Scientific Communications plans and develop an integrated strategy aligned with organizational priorities
- Lead publication planning and execution, ensuring timely dissemination of scientific evidence in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Coordinate scientific planning for key medical congresses and develop high-quality scientific communications for diverse audiences
Required qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, DO, PsyD, or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, or related functions within the biopharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated experience in leading publication planning and execution, including scientific presentations and congress support
- Exceptional scientific writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear communications
- Prior leadership experience in Scientific Communications is strongly preferred, with experience in psychiatry or CNS therapeutic areas highly desirable
