Scientific Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support data engineering initiatives, the full-time Scientific Data Engineer Consultant will design and maintain data pipelines using AWS tools, implement data ingestion solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using AWS tools such as Glue, Aurora, and Redshift
- Implement data ingestion and parsing solutions for diverse data files from instruments and analytical results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in AWS
- Proficiency with AWS tools: Glue, Aurora, Redshift
- Strong Python programming skills
- Demonstrable experience with scientific, analytical, or process data, ideally within the domain of CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) data
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in the Life Sciences
