Scientific Director, Biostatistics

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Scientific Statistical and Data Coordinating Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and innovate all aspects of the SDCC research program for successful project implementation and data management
• Develop study protocols and provide statistical expertise in design and analysis, leading the development of manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals
• Establish and maintain relationships with external government sponsors and internal executives while supporting corporate initiatives for business development

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master's degree in biostatistics, epidemiology, public health, or a related field; PhD preferred
• At least 8 years of clinical research experience, with a minimum of 5 years in research portfolio management
• Deep experience in leading clinical research projects with knowledge of unique challenges in disease research
• Working knowledge of clinical research management principles
• Therapeutic expertise in areas such as vaccine and infectious disease, ophthalmology, and neuroscience
