Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scientific Editor (Hybrid, Cambridge, MA or Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Recruiting research papers for submission and fostering communities of interest
• Assessing submitted research papers and overseeing the peer review process
• Establishing relationships with researchers and representing the journal at scientific meetings

Required Qualifications

• PhD or post-doctoral research in Life or Health sciences with expertise in relevant fields
• 1-2 years of previous editorial experience
• Experience running a research group or working in industry is beneficial
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work in a diverse team
• Creativity, willingness to experiment, and a desire to improve are essential
