Scientific Outreach Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the NIH Office of the Director, the full-time remote Scientific Outreach and Partnerships Specialist will lead stakeholder engagement, partnership development, and outreach activities to enhance the reputation and impact of the Journal of Replication and Reproducibility (JRR).

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies for stakeholder engagement, outreach, and partnership development to meet program goals
• Build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including researchers, publishers, and community organizations
• Coordinate outreach campaigns and evaluate engagement effectiveness through data analysis and reporting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of five years of experience in stakeholder engagement, strategic communications, or related fields
• Proven experience in designing and implementing outreach or partnership initiatives with measurable outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with various stakeholder groups
• Experience in collecting and analyzing performance metrics for program evaluation
