Scientific Project Manager
Job Summary
Serving as a primary liaison for a multidisciplinary team, the full-time remote Scientific Project Manager will coordinate scientific and operational activities for a Data Coordination Services program supporting infectious disease research and vaccine development.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate communication among government stakeholders, investigators, data managers, and technical teams to align on project priorities and deliverables
- Coordinate project activities, timelines, and action items across various scientific and technical workstreams
- Lead meetings and discussions to document decisions, track progress, and promote data management practices consistent with FAIR data principles
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in a life science, biomedical science, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered
- Experience supporting biomedical or translational research programs, particularly in infectious diseases or vaccine development
- Proven ability to facilitate scientific meetings and discussions effectively
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing complex projects and documentation
- Working knowledge of scientific research workflows and data quality concepts
