Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scientific and Technical Support Lead to provide support to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, analyze, and synthesize scientific data to determine environmental impacts on biological resources and aquatic habitats
  • Write biological opinions and responses related to action agencies' assessments for listed species and habitats
  • Provide technical assistance and feedback to action agencies regarding biological assessments and permit applications


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and three years of experience, or a Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Knowledge of salmonid life cycles and habitat requirements
  • Experience with ESA and MSA regulations and document preparation
  • Experience assessing impacts of human activities on marine species and habitats
  • Experience working with tribal governments is preferred
