Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scientist I to support drug discovery efforts in San Diego, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver genetic material into primary human T cells using electroporation or nucleofection
• Execute high-throughput screening assays and maintain primary human T cells and Jurkat cell lines
• Perform functional characterization assays and record experimental procedures in an Electronic Lab Notebook

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or a related biological science
• At least 2 years of hands-on wet lab experience, preferably in an industry setting
• Mastery of aseptic techniques and experience in isolating primary T cells from PBMCs
• Expertise in flow cytometry acquisition and analysis
• Experience with non-viral transfection methods and liquid-handling robotics is preferred
