Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, qualify, and implement innovative in vitro lung model systems for disease modeling and lung safety risk assessment
• Design and execute experiments to characterize lung models, evaluating cell viability, morphology, and barrier integrity using various techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on model building and communicate study results to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Bioengineering, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Toxicology, or related fields with 0-5 years of post-PhD experience
• Experience in culturing multiple lung cell types, including primary cells and cell lines
• Expertise in developing airway or alveolar organoids and microphysiological platforms for drug discovery
• Proficiency in characterization techniques such as qRT-PCR, RNA-seq, and confocal microscopy
• Strong experimental design skills with experience in troubleshooting and protocol optimization
