Scientist II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scientist II to develop sterile liquid drug products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory experiments for the development of pharmaceutical products focusing on sterile liquid dosage forms
• Perform analytical and characterization experiments to support formulation and manufacturing process development
• Independently plan and execute lab-scale experiments, ensuring accurate documentation of results and conclusions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmacy, or relevant scientific discipline with 3-5 years of industry experience, or a master's degree with 2 years of experience
• Experience in formulation and manufacturing process development for sterile liquid drug products
• Hands-on experience with analytical techniques including HPLC and UPLC
• Familiarity with sterilization techniques such as filtration and autoclaving
• Proficiency in using statistical software and knowledge of fundamental statistics
