Job Summary

To support advanced biomedical research, the full-time Scientist II will develop and optimize image analysis pipelines for 2D and 3D images while collaborating with cross-functional teams in Ridgefield, CT.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize image analysis pipelines for quantitative analysis of biomedical images
• Apply machine learning methods for feature extraction, segmentation, and classification of imaging data
• Collaborate with pathologists and biologists to define analytical endpoints and validate image-derived biomarkers

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in scientific programming languages such as R and Python
• Extensive experience with machine learning techniques, particularly in pathology images
• Experience with image analysis tools like HALO, Visiopharm, and QuPath
• Background in cell image analysis and marker quantification from multiplex IHC
• Previous experience in the biotech industry is preferred
