SCOM Monitoring Analyst
Job Summary
A company is looking for a SCOM Monitoring Analyst for a 6-month contract to hire that can be done 100% remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the monitoring framework with planning, health checks, software patching, and performance analysis
- Monitor and troubleshoot configurations related to network, systems, and application performance
- Develop and manage cross-platform monitoring architecture and execute daily IT support activities
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Deep understanding of System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and its components
- Experience with SCOM installation, upgrades, and monitoring workflows
- Proficiency in Visual Studio Authoring Extensions (VSAE) for management pack development
- Strong PowerShell skills for creating and maintaining custom scripts
- Experience with monitoring design and implementation for system enhancements
