Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scribe to document physician activities into the medical record.

Key Responsibilities

• Record patient information and physician activities in the medical chart for approval
• Transcribe history and physical examinations during patient encounters
• Gather and check laboratory and radiology results for physician review

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• West Virginia state criminal background check required
• Knowledge of medical terminology and accepted abbreviations
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn new applications quickly
• Typing speed of 50 words per minute preferred
