Scriptwriter for Educational Videos

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Health Administration's educational initiatives, the full-time remote Scriptwriter for Educational Videos will research, develop, and write engaging scripts for animated videos that communicate evidence-based information about trauma and PTSD to diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, write, and revise scripts for animated educational videos on trauma and PTSD
• Translate scientific literature and clinical protocols into clear, engaging scripts using plain language
• Collaborate with SMEs, clinicians, and production teams to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of scripts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Creative Writing, Media Studies, Public Health, or a related discipline
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience writing scripts or educational content
• Demonstrated experience producing scripts for video, animation, or multimedia educational products
