Scrum Master
Job Summary
Supporting Agile delivery for enterprise IT initiatives within the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time remote Scrum Master will facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage backlogs, and promote continuous improvement while coordinating across various stakeholder groups.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Maintain a clear and actionable product or team backlog in collaboration with stakeholders
- Track sprint progress and escalate issues to ensure timely resolution and delivery momentum
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role
- Strong knowledge of Scrum and Agile delivery practices
- Experience facilitating teams in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Ability to translate stakeholder priorities into clear epics and user stories
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline
