Scrum Master

Job Summary

To support the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time remote Scrum Master will guide Agile practices, facilitate project execution, and help the team achieve its goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Scrum events such as Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives
• Build relationships to foster collaboration and innovation across Agile software development teams
• Proactively identify and remove impediments to team progress and assist in backlog management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development and system integration
• Proven track record managing large-scale projects and facilitating briefings with senior leadership
• Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Jira or Trello
• Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Kanban methodologies is highly desired
