Scrum Master

Job Summary

Supporting interdisciplinary Agile teams, the full-time Scrum Master will facilitate Agile delivery for VA health informatics, ensuring adherence to Scrum and SAFe practices while managing JIRA documentation and coordinating ceremonies to enhance care team workflows and Veteran outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Support Agile teams in following Scrum theory and SAFe principles while maintaining accurate sprint documentation
• Track and communicate delivery progress, risks, and retrospective findings to program leadership and stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, health informatics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Agile, Scrum, program/project delivery, health IT, or federal consulting
• Experience facilitating Agile teams and promoting Scrum theory and practices
• Hands-on experience using JIRA or similar Agile lifecycle management tools
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
