Scrum Master
Job Summary
Located remotely, the contract Scrum Master will facilitate sprint ceremonies, manage team backlogs in Azure DevOps, and enforce release processes while collaborating with stakeholders to track and communicate delivery metrics.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate sprint ceremonies and maintain the team backlog with clear acceptance criteria and dependencies
- Own the release calendar and enforce the release process, including regression execution and code quality checks
- Coach team members on agile principles and proactively identify and escalate technical risks
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, or Technical Project Manager in software engineering
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GITHUB, and managing release lifecycles
- Familiarity with enterprise change management processes and SAFe or scaled agile frameworks
- Experience driving engineering quality practices, including automated testing and release gate enforcement
- Demonstrated ability to own RCA processes and implement preventive measures
