Scrum Master
Job Summary
To support a team transitioning to Agile methodologies, the contract Scrum Master will act as a coach and mentor, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, and manage dependencies while working remotely from Phoenix, Arizona.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a coach and mentor for a team new to Agile, guiding them in adopting Agile practices effectively
- Coordinate between the program Agile team and the internal organization, managing dependencies and clearing technical roadblocks
- Lead all Scrum ceremonies to ensure effective team working sessions and discussions focused on long-term success
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in large, multi-phase, complex system implementations
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment
- Demonstrated experience supporting a team's transition from Waterfall to Agile
- Proven experience managing complex dependencies associated with large, greenfield enterprise systems
- Technical background with a strong preference for candidates with prior software development experience
