Scrum Master
Job Summary
Guiding Agile practices for a Department of Veterans Affairs project, the full-time remote Scrum Master will lead Scrum events, remove impediments, and foster collaboration among cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead Scrum events including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives
- Build strong relationships to enhance collaboration and transparency across Agile teams
- Assist the Product Manager with backlog management and ensure alignment with business goals
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development and system integration
- Proven experience managing large-scale software development initiatives
- Proficient with Agile project management tools such as Jira or Trello
- Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Kanban methodologies is highly desired
