Scrum Master Certification Required

Job Summary

To support a mission-critical DoD software development program, the full-time remote Scrum Master will facilitate Agile practices, coach cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery of software solutions while holding a Scrum Master Certification.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the Scrum Master for an Agile software development team, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies and ensuring adherence to Agile principles
• Collaborate with the Government Product Owner to manage and prioritize the Product Backlog, ensuring items are well-defined and ready for execution
• Remove obstacles impeding team progress and maintain sprint metrics, performance reports, and Agile dashboards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master on DoD software development programs
• Current Agile certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
• Proficiency with Government-approved Agile management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
• Active Secret Security Clearance
