SDET Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SDET Engineer to modernize and lead their test automation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Agile feature teams to define acceptance criteria and promote a test-first mindset
• Build and maintain test automation frameworks using Playwright or other approved tools for API and UI testing
• Support manual testing efforts, including test case design and exploratory testing for complex workflows

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript preferred) or similar frameworks
• Migration experience from Selenium + Java or Postman to modern frameworks
• Familiarity with test reporting and quality metrics in a DevOps environment
• Experience with test case management tools (e.g., qTest, TestRail)
• Ability to write and maintain SQL queries for data validation
