SDET for Financial Systems

Job Summary

A company is looking for an SDET for a 6 month contractor position.

Key Responsibilities

• Own test coverage for squad's features end-to-end, including unit, integration, and E2E tests
• Build and maintain automated test suites and run manual testing on features before release
• Define QA standards, review PRs for testability, and collaborate with product engineers to enhance testing processes

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in at least one of: Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Go
• Experience designing and building test frameworks from scratch
• Deep familiarity with API testing and working knowledge of databases (SQL)
• Experience integrating test suites into CI pipelines and operating in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP)
• Understanding of financial systems, including payment flows and compliance pipelines (preferred but not mandatory)
