Search Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Search Engineer to support and enhance their enterprise search platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance enterprise search applications and indexing pipelines
- Perform operations and maintenance activities, including patching and system administration
- Troubleshoot and resolve indexing failures and search performance issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or enterprise search support
- Hands-on experience with enterprise search platforms like Apache Solr or OpenSearch
- Experience in Linux production environments and supporting data ingestion pipelines
- Strong programming skills in Java and/or Python
