Seasonal Admissions Reader

Job Summary

Evaluating undergraduate applications remotely, the part-time Seasonal Admissions Reader will review transcripts, essays, and recommendation letters while rendering admission recommendations that align with the University's enrollment goals, working 5-10 hours per week with potential for up to 20 hours during peak weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate applications for undergraduate admission and recommend decisions using provided resources
• Review high school transcripts, educational coursework, standardized test scores, and recommendation letters
• Communicate with admission staff regarding applicants as required

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Prior experience reading college applications preferred
• Ability to apply critical thinking and professional judgment in evaluating applicants
• Familiarity with technology
• Ability to work independently and manage a case load within assigned parameters
