Job Summary
Providing exceptional support to plan participants, the full-time Seasonal Benefit Customer Service Representative will assist with enrollment and updates to health care and pension plans, working remotely while residing within 2 hours of Mt. Laurel for occasional in-office requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Quickly build rapport with plan participants and respond to inquiries in a compassionate and timely manner via phone, email, and instant messaging
- Safeguard confidential information and ensure compliance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws while translating complex plan information into understandable terms for customers
- Maintain accurate documentation of calls and case notes, while collaborating respectfully with colleagues and participating in team meetings and training
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree is a plus
- Experience in a customer service-related field, preferably in a call center environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple computer windows during customer interactions
- Ability to type at least 30 words per minute and follow oral and written instructions accurately
- Comfortable working in a virtual environment with online training and communication with supervisors
