Job Summary

As a Seasonal Benefit Customer Service Representative, the full-time position based in Tempe, Arizona, will assist plan participants with enrollment and updates to their health care and pension plans, providing exceptional service primarily through phone communication in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build rapport with plan participants by responding to inquiries in a compassionate and timely manner via phone, email, and instant messaging
  • Safeguard confidential information in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws while translating complex plan information into understandable terms for customers
  • Document call and case notes accurately and maintain compliance with company procedures while collaborating with colleagues and participating in team meetings
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; experience in a customer service-related field preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess member concerns quickly
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple computer windows during customer interactions
  • Ability to work autonomously in a structured, virtual environment with adherence to schedules and protocols
  • Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute
