Job Summary
As a Seasonal Benefit Customer Service Representative, the full-time role will assist client plan participants with enrollment and updates to their health care and pension plans, primarily through phone communication, while working remotely with occasional in-office requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Quickly build rapport and respond to plan participants in a compassionate manner, exceeding expectations through various communication channels
- Safeguard confidential information in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws while providing clear explanations of complex plan information
- Maintain accurate call and case notes, demonstrating knowledge of company procedures and actively participating in team meetings and training
Required Qualifications
- High School degree required; Associate or Bachelor's degree is a plus
- Experience in a customer service-related field, preferably in a call center environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple computer windows while assisting customers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess member concerns and formulate resolutions
- Ability to type at least 30 words per minute and work autonomously in a virtual environment
