Job Summary
Providing support for benefit inquiries, the full-time Seasonal Benefits Associate will interface with members and internal resources to guide them through benefit plan options, answer calls, and assist with open enrollment issues in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and respond to member inquiries regarding benefit plans and options
- Provide guidance on open enrollment issues and assist members in navigating their benefit choices
- Document benefit issues thoroughly and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
Required qualifications
- High School Degree or GED required; an Associate's degree in a related field is preferred
- Minimum of one year of customer service, healthcare, or employee benefits experience required
- Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel is required
- Ability to pass standardized testing and interviews
- Preferred knowledge of COBRA, Medicare, and various health plans
